<description>I use this script and with minimal effort you can address the hacking vunerablility, most sites run the core and do not use the security updates HFP2 and HFP3 and this leaves them open to attack, with these implemented hacking is less likely, i say less likely as nothing is un-hackable if they are detemined enough. There is rumoured to be a new release from the phpizabi.com site on the way, with all the bugs that have been found over the years ironed out and mods that have been created already built-in . When the release date is i dont know but its pretty much a done deal.</description>

<description>Dude, u hit this one on the nose! I've been looking through miles of code trying to figure out why phpizabi, the "master social net cms" was running like an old man desperately trying to get one off, and, after reading your well put together article, ive decided that phpizabi is simply a vegitated body on life support. Pull the plug! Upon first inspection Phpizabi looks promising. A "potential adultfriendfinder or myspace" and features alot of great mods and alotta free content.... but.... The support is only free cause it sucks (as does the payed support), the code is shotty at best, and the themes are impossible to work with! before this i was trying to work with phpnuke and drupal. phpnuke was not the best cms, but easy to work with and I am greatfull to have started with it, great script for starters barely learning php and working with cms. Beyond that, it sucks. Drupal, though I didnt get too far into, is quite promising. Not sure how it would hold up on a "pay for premium" platform, but from what i have seen it is a powerful social net script. Although, when you have a fresh installation there re few if any promising features. Lots of free mods and themes though. Well bud, kudos to you for exposing this dead, potential hack-frenzy of a script. I will continue to check back on this page simply to see what else you may discover.

Thanx,
Your friend from Cali,
